LARGE BROWN SCORPION
Australian Rainforest Scorpion (Liocheles waigiensis) The rainforest scorpion is aptly named as it is commonly found in Queensland's rainforests. However, it's a scorpion that occupies a greater range of habitats than just rainforests. Even though it has tropical origins and is thought to have entered Australia via the northern land bridges when they existed, it has managed to survive in areas which have progressively dried out over time.
