MADAGASCAN GROUND BOA
Madagascar ground boa (Acrantophis madagascariensis) - is a relatively large, heavy-bodied, ground-dwelling snake. Its colouration comprises a pattern of brown, tan and black, helping to camouflage it against the leaf litter in its habitat. Also known as the Madagascar ground boa. The overall resemblance is similar to the Dumeril’s boas although the pattern is not as defined or as high a contrast as that of the Dumeril’s. Diego Suarez region, Northern Madagascar.
