NORTHERN SPINY TAILED GECKO
Northern Spiny-tailed Gecko (Strophurus ciliaris) This gecko is considered arboreal, yet is still commonly found in spinifex desert areas void of bushy vegetation. Although primarily a nocturnal gecko, they can often be seen basking during day light hours and UV light is probably an important factor to their health.
